Bag-Strs (Bag Sisters) is owned and operated by sisters Leslie Hughes and Diane Hutchinson of Lantana, Florida. 

They believe that a small lifestyle change can have a significant impact on our environment.  Using reusable bags instead of disposable plastic bags is smart - using a Bag-Strs bag is smart AND fashionable. 

About The Artist

Diane Hutchinson is a self taught artist who sold her first painting at 12. Although she put her art brushes and paints away for twenty plus years while she pursued a career and raised a family, she never lost the desire to paint. In 1988 she and her husband moved to Lantana, Florida where Diane resumed her painting.

Diane's work has been shown throughout Southern Florida as well as judged competitions. In 1995 she joined the Lake Worth Art League and won two honorable mentions throughout the year; then she won first place in the category of oils at the year's end Show of Shows. The painting "Fire" was displayed in the Palm Beach Fire Department until it was sold to a private party.

Diane uses each Bag-Strs carrier as a canvas and signs each one as an original piece of art. Diane feels not only is it satisfying to do something one loves, but to help our environment simultaneously is the ultimate!
